Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

This is the node of religion that encompasses the passing on of information on etiquette, rituals, rites, and ethical expectations, for example. It involves any and all communication between individuals of a species in any form to transmit information pertinent to any of the other six requirements of religion.
The type of knowledge and communication being employed in religion can be likened to a multiversity in Posthumanism-- the knowledge is supposed to be shared freely and symbiotically, and the attempt to break down the exclusive walls between an institution and the people it is trying to each is paramount to the knowledge's validity. It is a catch-all concept: there is nothing that a religious communication would hold back. It is not just esoteric theological jargon-- in fact, almost none of it is. A good, solid form of religious knowledge and communication employs interdisciplinary concepts from both within and without the institution, and melds and meshes all learned information into one cohesive way of living.
