With an abundance of posters and commercials, Robert seeks to portray climate change issues through the unconventional lens of music and perfumery. The two art forms have intertwined in the past, most notably during the late 19th and 20th centuries. Composers like Alexander Scriabin experimented with adding scents to music, combining the experiences of the two senses. This concert pays an homage to this tradition with a modern take in both fields. This event was held at The Institute for Art and Olfaction in Los Angeles.
Robert played both the classical guitar and the Baroque guitar in a program ranging from the Baroque to contemporary classical music. Meanwhile, each musical work was paired with an original perfume, available to smell during the concert.
