12017-09-17T11:39:35-07:00Ross Scimeca2Project Bioplain2017-09-18T17:29:52-07:00Ross Scimeca (Head, Philosophy Library, University of Southern California) graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and two very strong minors in Comparative Literature and Sociology. He then went on to the University of Southern California for his Ph.D. in Philosophy dealing with irrationalism in nineteenth-century philosophy.
After his doctoral studies, he earned his Master’s Degree in Library Science also from the University of Southern California where he has been working since 1969 providing research services in the areas of philosophy, religion, anthropology, history of ideas as well as literature and culture as well as reference and instruction services.
