The heat was severe. The temperature was 107ْ. I was concerned over Ayako and Roger who left early this morning. The whole day was difficult to bear because of the heat. I went to bed with a feeling of relief after we sent out our baggage. I was annoyed by the noise from the neighbors as well as all around.; Dawn came without sleep because of this. When I think that tonight is the last night I will be here I somewhat regret leaving this barrack which was home to us.
