you really can't
unless you try very very hard. That is on purpose as the project isn't meant to be read in sequential order. I ended up adding the page sequence as a sort of marker of where you are in the project. THe easiest way to do it is to use the timeline which includes about 2/3rds of the pages http://scalar.usc.edu/works/unghosting-apparitional-lesbians/time-place-and-space. The links are embedded in the timeline as the "source" and say (click here for page). The sequences largely trees off those pages if you really want to get 1-21. I should caution though that it doesn't represent a true linear path. Thanks for the question as it highlights at least three things i need to fix! Michelle
