  Abby Sciuto, the woman who does it all in her basement lab. She can enhance photos to find a perps identity, math a fingerprint in CODIS, test blood for DNA samples, and can even do IT work in hacking into websites to find IP addresses and locations of computers. She did her undergrad at Louisiana Sate University with a major in sociology, criminology, and psychology and then went on to receive a masters from Georgia State University in criminology and forensic science. 
  She is depicted as a fun loving happy goth girl who can grew up as a hearing child with deaf parents who adopted her. She is a devoted Roman Catholic who often loves to go bowling with nuns. 
   A large point in the plot of Abby is her relationship with Timothy. She gets jealous when other females interact with him. She is extremely friendly with him and a romantic relationship was not what her relationship with Timothy turned into. Instead it is more of a brother-sister dynamic. Her relationship with Gibbs is also a huge one of importance. She cares deeply for Gibbs and is worried for him often. She gets upset when he doesn't visit her often or if he forgets her beloved caf-pow. 
  She is not all she appears to be but is definitely a complex character.
