This project aims to explore the history of the Media Studies program at The New School by tracking media production courses, from its early stages in Summer 1971 to Fall 2014, in attempt to better understand how material conditions have shaped the history of the Media Studies department. Each page highlights material from The New School Archives and Special Collections. By putting course catalogues pertaining to one medium in dialogue with each other we are able to see these significant shifts in the Media Studies program. This project is a resource that highlights and animates archival material.
