Uswa Shafaque is a dedicated research assistant with a passion for global health policy, particularly in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the political economy of healthcare innovation. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Health Policy at the London School of Economics, Uswa combines her commitment to equitable healthcare access with a strong foundation in evidence-based research. With experience from the Global Strategy Lab, she has developed a nuanced understanding of healthcare governance, AMR policymaking, and One Health approaches.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Uswa actively engages in projects on policy innovation and healthcare equity, advocating for inclusive policies that amplify marginalized voices. Her career aspirations include working with international organizations like the WHO to bridge theoretical insights with practical solutions for underserved communities. An avid traveler and road-trip enthusiast, she brings curiosity and adaptability to both her professional and personal life.
