Her portfolio includes championing Imperial College London’s Alexander Fleming heritage and the need to put patients and the public at the heart of efforts to keep antimicrobials working, as the Fleming Initiative’s Public Engagement Lead. She is passionate about creating immersive and interactive exhibition experiences and the powerful opportunities these present for the public to get actively involved in tackling AMR.
Prior to establishing her consultancy, Emily worked for 16 years at London’s Science Museum. There she led teams to deliver an array of permanent galleries, temporary exhibitions, events programmes, festivals and digital content, in roles including Head of Exhibitions & Programmes and Lead Curator for Medicine: The Wellcome Galleries. She originally trained and practiced as a biomedical research scientist in the fields of gene therapy and virology.
