Demetria’s role includes working with the team to develop comprehensive dissemination plans, exploring strategies to make GSL’s research more accessible to key audiences and encouraging a culture of strategic communication.
Demetria brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience across the private, public and non-profit sectors. Her areas of interest include strategic communications, participatory product development and knowledge mobilization. Prior to joining the team Demetria headed the communications department of a policy-research network focused on gender and employment.
Demetria divides her time between Ottawa, Ontario and Merigomish, Nova Scotia and enjoys biking and hiking with her family.
