  • Please bring paper and something to write with to every class. There will be short (unannounced and announced) in-class activities. For the most part, these will be ungraded, for-credit assignments. If, however, there is a problem (such as length, appropriateness, etc.) in these assignments, a warning will be given, and if the issue continues, partial credit may be given.
  • This may also include quizzes and peer-review workshops as needed.
You are also expected to participate by showing up both physically, mentally, and emotionally. Voice your opinions. Ask questions for clarification as well as challenges to the material. Listen respectfully and actively hear the other members of this class. People react differently to different environments, so if you worry that we will not see how engaged you really are, please discuss this either in class or privately.
