Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

Find a Book or eBook

Once you have done the search you may see your book, or you may need to use the filters on the left-hand side of the screen to further refine your search.
If you have located a book that is available in the PC Library record the call number and find it in the stacks (ask a librarian if you need assistance). If the book is at another HELIN library click on the "Request It" button and it can be sent here for pickup.
If you have found an ebook that PC has access to you should be able to click on the access link and get right to the material. If you are working on your research off campus you will be prompted to enter your name and library bar code (14 digit code on the back of your PC ID).
