First spotted in 1932, and located in the distant exotic lands of the Caribbean, these diminutive, dark-skinned marvels descend from rebelling African slaves from the late eighteenth century. Transformed by the mystical power of voodoo and strange spirits, they work plantations and mills, forever toiling in the dark.
According to a reputable traveler, who documented the various habits of this Haitian monstrosity about a hundred years ago, these undead do the bidding of their master, and feast on the flesh of Man for their sustenance. Not only do they feast on Man, but they thrive on it, gaining in strength and agility. Cannibals, beastly cannibals! Monsters, these truly are. Strange creatures!
Pictured is the tool of the Haitian undead, the straw basket, created through a mysterious method from the material of their own bodies! Within these baskets, the Haitian Zombie carries their materials for their endless labor.
According to reports, these zombies can live for up to five hundred years, as long as their masters maintain their life forces through their strange voodoo. They are impervious to illness and all forms of pain, forever toiling to their master's bidding.
