Our mosque will utilize photovoltaic solar panels on the roof as well as 

solar panels #2 along the curved edges of our walls facing towards the west because that is where it will be most efficient and collect the most sunlight.  We want to be smart about how we use our solar panels and not just place them everywhere such as on the domes, because that leads to a lot of extra capital investment for little payback.  We want the highest amount of long term savings that are attainable.
