- In the entire war, the total death toll is estimated to be 1.3 million to 3.9 million.
- Between one and two million Vietnamese civilians died.
- South Vietnam suffered about 254,300 troop deaths.
- The deaths of North Vietnam and Viet Cong troops numbered about half a million.
- About 56,800 Americans lost their lives, about 303,700 seriously wounded.
- Around 1150 Chinese, and 5100 Koreans died during the war.
