Gerard Collins

Gerard Collins is the L.A. as Subject Resident Archivist at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). As a long-time resident of the Los Angeles area, Gerard is fascinated by its history and is thrilled by the opportunity his work affords to learn even more about the region. He holds a BA from the University of Southern California and an MLIS from San José State University, where he also earned a certificate in the strategic management of digital assets and services. He has worked at the Pasadena Public Library, the Writers Guild Foundation Library and Archive, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Margaret Herrick Library. He lives in Burbank with his wife and their cats.
