LA as Subject: 25 years of Highlighting Southern California Archives

Archives Bazaar

The Archives Bazaar is the logical extension of the LA as Subject’s mission to increase the visibility of archives, and foster collaboration. It is a free annual all day event organized by LA as Subject that showcases a plethora of L.A. based archives and collections. Exhibitors set up booths representing different directory members ranging from large institutions to smaller community-based archives. Researchers and history enthusiasts get the chance to consult local experts and explore the diverse collections that tell the stories of LA. In addition to a wide range of exhibitors, the event features panel discussions, workshops, film screenings, book signing, and more.
