Avatar of an Avatar

You ask why we would pick the same body, but I'm so not surprised by the person they chose to use. She's looks like an avatar, as in, she already alters her look quite a bit to present an image. We all do, but some are more successful of others. She doesn't change much for her digital self because her physical self is already presentable. What about those that are not considered conventionally beautiful? The overweight? The ones with acne? The ones that have a "boring" hair style or shabby clothing? Should you still mirror yourself? Or create an avatar that is you made into a socially "presentable" appearance?
