                  At Spelman College students are required to take a series of general education courses during their first and second year at the college. The purpose of these courses are to enable their growth as women and aid them in becoming functioning members in the Spelman community. One of these courses is SYE, or Second Year Experience, which features two distinct classes: Public Speaking and Leadership. 
                As a student in a leadership class, as a final project we are expected to prepare a portfolio that tracks our progress and evolution of our thoughts and experiences on/in leadership. For a rubric and more details regarding this portfolio click here.
