Lindsay Cahill lives in Niagara, Ontario. her work has been featured across Canada, and internationally in the U.S., and Australia. she’s executed a series of city and region-wide visual poetry installations including a history of breaking: one thousand Scrabble tile-visual poems across the G.T.A. which will be included in The Volta’s forthcoming feature on Women in Visual Poetry. she co-edits the N.Y.C and Niagara-based zine outlandish with Kelly Wydryk.
Maja Jantar (http://writing.upenn.edu/pennsound/x/Jantar.php) is a multilingual and polysonic voice artist living in Ghent, Belgium, whose work spans the fields of performance, opera, poetry and visual arts. A co-founder of the group Krikri, she has been giving individual and collaborative performances throughout Europe and experimenting with poetic sound works since 1995.
a rawlings has presented and/or published work in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, and the United States. Her first book, Wide slumber for lepidopterists (Coach House Books, 2006) received the Alcuin Award for Design. rawlings received a Chalmers Arts Fellowship in 2009 and 2010, enabling her to research Icelandic, improvisation, nordicity, and volcanology for the development and presentation of new work in Belgium, Canada, and Iceland. She also was selected the 2012 Queensland Poet-in-Residence; during her tenure, she spent three months in Australia developing Gibber, an interdisciplinary project that combines poetry, acoustic ecology, and counter-mapping. Chris Turnbull lives in Kemptville, Ontario. She publishes rout/e, a small magazine-turned- footpress, posting poems on trails. Her writing can be found in virtual and print spaces: recently, above/ground press published a chapbook of her visual and multi-performative piece, continua. Other pieces can be found on Ditch, Dusie, and Angelhouse Press among others. She is currently working on a marsh series and cube.
