Course Overview
Our objectives for this course are:
- To create a horizontal, dialog based learning environment where we are all empowered as educators and learners.
- To learn about the study of speculative media and social change through an interdisciplinary approach that combines theory and practice.
- To understand the theories underlying today's social movements.
- To learn what questions need to be asked in a process of creating speculative media.
- To identify and understand the relationships between speculative media and social change, in order to be more effective media makers.
- To learn hands on practices for creating speculative media
