While in the workshop days, Anuradha Chaterjee took us into the idea of “Drums and Space: CrossCultural Encounters”. She introduced 5 drum performances and asked us to create patterns for each. From Japanese drums to African drums different patterns were formed with the ideas of rhythm, time, space and style. And when I think of a special form, those patterns gave different forms for each and all together it created highly unexpected visual forms exhibiting cross cultural space.

On the left side you can see how my body interpreted the music as a spontaneous act.
On the righ side I extracted the patterns and the spacial elements which came into my mind. I followed the same process for each audio.
