INTERVIEW REQUEST - EMAIL TEMPLATE

Subject Line: Interview Request for Student Research Project

Dear [XXX]: I am an undergraduate student in IS266 Community Innovation. As part of our semester research project, I am conducting a research project on ___________. The project considers how ________[your project topic] _______ impacted our campus’ climate around safety, inclusion and accessibility, and/or helped shape new innovations on campus (as either new technologies or new policies) related to a safe and inclusive campus climate, culture or infrastructure.

Because of your role/relation to _____________, I believe my research would be enormously benefitted by your insight. If you would be available to speak by phone or Zoom in the near future/coming week or so, I would love to schedule a 20-30 minute interview with you. We could arrange a time that would be convenient to you. All responses to my questions would be optional. I hope my research can help shed light on how support for safety in diverse arenas of student life impact campus culture. Thank you!
Sincerely,
