Twitter has emerged as a powerful tool for social networking, communication, and political influence. In this course, we will seek to understand the value and ethics of using Twitter in social work contexts. We will also critically examine how those with and without power and influence leverage Twitter for unique purposes. You will practice using Twitter throughout the course. You will set up a Twitter account to be used in the class Twitter account @PolicyClassNYU.
