Several more dead Skinner corpses emerge from the ground and chase Bart. He runs to the river and sees Skinner's corpse under the surface. Skinner repeats, "You killed me Bart." Bart runs again and finds Skinner's corpse hung up in a meat shack, and again Skinner says "You killed me Bart." Bart is then in jail on death row, working out in his cell. Reverend Lovejoy comes in and Bart asks if he's come to comfort him. The Rev. replies, "yes" and then mechanically pats his arm, saying, "There, there". An angry mob outside calls for Bart's death. Homer is among them chanting, "Kill my boy." Bart is put in the electric chair, and needs to sit on a large book in order for his head to reach the top. He wakes up just as the switch is pulled.
