In the Fall of 2013, the University of Illinois became one of a small number of institutional test sites for a new, open-access web authoring tool called Scalar. Students and faculty at our University have begun to try to use this platform to conceptualize, create and publish new historical work. This presentation (written in Scalar!) is dedicated to introducing you to both Scalar and what use it might have for historians.
