► Practice in “digital play” environment to gain knowledge of tools like Audacity, Quicktime, and iMovie
► Check out equipment— microphones, cameras, tripods, etc— to extend project quality, including the script audio
The course includes two A/V Workshop days. The first day is designed to introduce students to tools they can use for their videos. (All software taught is accessible on designated UT computers available in the library and lab spaces.) The second day is a workshop day where students can ask technology questions and work on creating their projects. Between the two days, students are encouraged to record their scripts so that they can layer audio over other media.
