song title

Skipping the prelude, this video opens with the title of the song. Although there is a tradition of writing song titles in upper case, in this case, such a visual solution immediately declares the grotesque character of the following video.
On a blue, slightly psychedelic background, the acid-green title of the video gradually appears, divided according to the lexical roots of the word (АКВА - ДИСКО - ТЕКА). Curved digital images of Alexander Gudkov, the author of the lyrics and the main performer of the song, move around it.
According to Bakhtin, the grotesque is inextricably connected with an idea of unity and fragmentation, it is generated by laughter, and its main function is to overcome fear. Do we have it here? Not yet, although some of the elements like the infantile cringy font of the title and its fragmented nature hint at the hyperbolic continuation of the video clip.
