  Speaking of a word game, one can never ignore the most essential of the entity: the choice of words. The author is dedicated to make the game to be gender inclusive, empowering, and positive. Meanwhile, he manages to construct the language by the mechanism of a Twine story to deliver the world view and ideology he seeks to commune with the players.

   

  He is so careful about the messages behind his words and sentences that he explained some of them directly in the game. Some choices in the game do not have an actual consequences other than direct the player to the mere definition of a particular word. At the very beginning of the game, the first interaction can be the word "You." The description of "you" is meant to be open to people with all identities and compliment on the character's appearance. Another example will be the the title "comrade." The word, in this context, had a different meaning than the traditional explanation. The author grants the the word the meaning of liberation and tolerance, and further emphasized the relationship between two characters.

  Another very unique designation in the game was during the character attempted to escape the police chasing after him/her. The author employs a long sentence in a parallel structure. It has tightened the flow of the game and creates the tension in between lines. Furthermore, the player is able to click on every single crime and the character will commit those alleged crimes once again. The author also described these actions by the parallel structure; besides increasing the tension, it also portrays a scene about resistance and rebellion against the established monarchy and old order. The transition was bold and creative, and even resembles the impact of an action movie. This section demonstrates the relationship between an extremely centralized government and the people under its governing; the interactions between the characters and the police also imply the issue of brutality and push player to contemplate how should we treat each other as people, regardless of the positions we hold.
  
   

  Some other little details are also quite impressive. For example, the pronounce in regard of the friend was the gender inclusive term "they" instead of she/he. As the opinion piece "It's time for 'They'" from New York Times argued, the gender pronounce is based on the presumsions that all the social interactions are related to one's gender; the utilization of "they/them" pronounce would help to eliminate the gender stereotypes in our society. Another example is when the player decided to have a romantic relationship with the friend, the author also highlights the fact that the relationship was consensual. Regardless the author is merely try to fit the political correctness or he personally confirms this type of behavior, he has set up a very classic standard of how should we treat each other in various types relationships in a respectful and inclusive way.
