An Enhanced Reality

Reality television consumes us. From "America's Next Top Model" to "The Bachelor" we can't help but get caught up in the reality presented before us. This project explores the early history of reality television and the origins of the dating game category of reality TV, as well as contemporary examples of this sub-genre. And more importantly, this project focuses on the "enhanced reality" produced in these reality TV shows and the potentially harmful repercussions this can have.
