I might also choose to create my own sources. For instance, I can upload an oral history, interview, walking tour, photo essay, or map. If these files are too large to upload to Scalar, I can submit them to Youtube or Creative Commons. I can then embed these external pages within my Scalar page. See, for instance, "Ethnic Los Angeles" produced by students at UCLA.
