I might choose to use evidence directly from the archives. When this is the case, I can upload particularly compelling pieces of evidence to the website. Creative Commons, the Hemispheric Institute, and the Shoah Foundation can all be directly linked to Scalar from the Dashboard. Or, I can import media from a site with an Open Access policy, such as the Library of Congress, the Internet Archive, or the Digital Public Library of America. If I choose to upload items without an Open Access Policy, I will need to provide a fair use argument within my Metadata.
