One Lucky Dumpling
According to the tradition of the “lucky pelmen’,” one dumpling is made with a filling different from the others. The one who finds this dumpling supposedly will be blessed with good fortune. The special filling can be made using a nut or potatoes or fruit, for example, and sometimes a coin is put in the pelmen’ – or the lucky dumpling has no filling at all.
