  1. Scene Setter Lead: The shadow of a viking ship falls over the stage, but the performers show no worry as they complete a cultural experience for the audience. Bagpipes, animal skin drums, and traditional saris were a few of the items that were used on the main stage at Pangea- Cultivate our Cultures. This event was held on November 19th at Moorhead’s own Hjemkomst Center and offered free admission to those who seek out learning opportunities of some of the cultures present in the Fargo/Moorhead area.
  2. Direct Address Lead: If you’ve been looking for a place to interact with other cultures in the Fargo/ Moorhead area, the Hjemkomst Center’s “Pangea” is the place to go.
  3. Basic News Lead: On Saturday, November 19th, people gathered at the Hjemkomst Center for Pangea- Cultivate our Cultures. The celebration of cultural diversity in Fargo/Moorhead was orchestrated by the Cultural Society of Clay County and ran from 10:00am-4:00am.
  4. Round-Up Lead: Not only did the Pangea- Cultivate our Cultures event hold food from 11 countries, song and dance were performed continuously throughout the day, booths were set up with merchandise, and crafts were available for children.
  5. Startling Statement Lead: 1,100 people attended Pangea- Cultivate our Cultures event on November the 19th. Maureen Jonason, Executive Director of the Hjemkomst Cultural Center, confirms that this year's number were higher than in years past.
