We are studying the NAACP during the 1960s in Tacoma because we want to understand the community context of the Now Mr. Lincoln campaign in order to help site visitors understand how Now Mr. Lincoln was a relationship between UPS and the greater Tacoma community. This section contextualize the background of stakeholders (NAACP) and their view of the university and helps fill in the missing timeline between the civil rights movement to the Now Mr. Lincoln campaign.
