The Illustrated Book of Myths: Tales & Legends of the World
This book is special to me because it's the first thing I ever stole. I was always interested in mythology, and, because of that interest, my mom let me "borrow" her mythology textbook that she had for a class she was taking. I loved it so much that, when the end of the semester came, I threw a fit and wouldn't let me mom take it back. Instead, she ended up having to pay for a college text book for her 7 year old to keep for a pleasure read. I'm pretty sure that is when my mom figured out how big of a nerd I am.
