The Shining holds the number one spot for my favorite horror novel and my favorite movie. I've read this book so many times I could probably recite it back to you (but don't test me). The story, for me, is so captivating, and I feel like I discover something new every time I read or watch it. As you can see with the many tabs of sticky notes, this copy is well loved and is full of different insights about the mystery of the Overlook Hotel. My dream is to go to the actual hotel that inspired this novel and spend the night.
