Not many people say that the Iliad epic poem is one of their favorite books, but I'm just a huge nerd who loves tortourously long books. This copy, and this translation, of the Iliad is important to me because I read it for a mythology class that I took at MCC with one of my favorite professors, Scott Rudd. He is who inspired me to really pursue a career in writing, and whenever I read this book I think back to my tumultuous times at MCC.
