Horror is one of my favorite genres. The purpose of a horror novel is to create feelings of fear, dread, repulsion, and terror in the audience. These can range from your classic slasher stories, to murder mysteries, to stories of ghosts and demons, to thriller stories. Part of the reason why I love this genre is that there are so many possibilities for different plots.
