It was the book that I would always ask my mom to read to me twice, and the book I stayed up late reading with a flashlight once I could read on my own. Though I didn't know it at the time, this book and my mom taught me an important lesson about indentity. It doesn't matter what people think of you, the only thing that matters is the good that you put out into the world. People may not always appreciate it at first, but doing the right thing and being a good person is more important than people liking you. This copy is important to me because it's the copy that I've had since I was a baby.
