I've always been fascinated by mythology, particularly gods and goddesses. Reading Bulfinch's retelling of these mythological stories is how I became more familiar with these stories, and I am so happy that I read them at a young age. I selected this particular copy because it's aesthetically beautiful. Growing up, I would usually just rent copies of myths from the library. This is the first book of myths that I purchased with my own money, and it became the first of many.
