Fantasy and Science Fiction
Fantasy and Science Fiction are two smaller genres that are often lumped together in most libraries. Fantasy and Science Fiction stories take place in worlds that have never existed or are not yet known. They can contain magic, have advanced, alien technology or just tell the story of a of a possible future based on scientific fact. Science fiction deals with scenarios and technology that are possible or may be possible based on science. Fantasy is an older genre of literature, arguably the oldest genre, which shares the story of a world that the author has created, which is not bound by "normal" life rules and rather dictated by rules the author makes up.
