ACRL Learning Outcomes for Information Literacy
Students will:
- Recognize that Authority is constructed and contextual in articles on composers and editions of scores, or performance of works.
- Recognize that Information creation is a process by identifying various forms of scholarship and ways of presentation, i.e., using Scalar to present information, finding scholarly sources for audio files, scores, etc.
- Recognize Research as Inquiry through synthesizing information gathered from various sources, both through institutional holdings and online, and creating entries for scholarship.
- Recognize Searching as strategic exploration by refining search strategies to incorporate required information into the project, in addition to understanding and observing copyright rules.
- Recognize Scholarship as conversation by producing a group project of scholarly quality work.
