Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

For this ongoing class assignment, you will describe your encounters with built environments in your everyday life that remind you of any of the issues discussed in class that either impede or improve mobilities: streets, buildings, signs, parks, etc. The purpose of this project is to document how the Mobility Justice framework allows you to observe your environment differently. Through this process, you will apply the concepts from Mobility Justice in the analysis of real-world scenarios, ranging from the most mundane to the unexpected. You will be submitting your entries in a digital anthology. During Weeks 13 and 14, we will go over how to format your journal entries in a dynamic and interactive way on this platform.
