Because of this class, I have begun to notice things that impact accessibility, that I never would've payed any mind to before. Businesses and schools are working on making their facilities and buildings more accessible for people who are disabled. This includes, adding ramps outside, elevators, and making bathroom stalls more spacious so assistive devices can fit comfortably. However, sometimes when making these changes there are small details that may impact how accessible they really are. 

In the Morris Library bathroom, there is a trashcan placed in front of the ADA designed stall door. The door opens outward, so it may not have seemed like a problem, however it narrows the opening for wheelchair users to be able to enter and exit the stall door. It is a small detail, however it could cause problems when using the accessible stall, especially if the person can't move the trash can to get out (not that they should have to be inconvenienced with moving the trash can either way). While it is great that buildings are incorporating these bigger stalls, with a sink accessible in them, there are still small improvements that can be made.
