In the Water Worlds Critical Reading section there is the idea of a human- water relationship that is about power. Power in a capitalistic post colonial sense in which humans capitalise and distribute bodies of water to certain groups of people, those that can afford it. Water is a a natural resource that is needed for all forms of life humans created a toxic power dynamic that values capital over nature and lives.
