The blurriness also adds the confusion of simulacra and reality in my opinion, which then links to Baudrillard and Eco’s quotes beautifully. In addition, the line “his truth is marching on” also gives emphasis on their arguments in general that what is “truth” and “reality”, which has transformed the original meaning of the song.
