but she insisted on me coming in. Her M’n’gr says she is so fond of baby & it looks that way. We were told not to miss a performance so we are going to Mat.
Mon. 30th
The dear lady has left Chi & we will miss her so. We went to every performance & was with her in her dressing room directly after each. And last night as I sat on the floor by her chair & she held both my hands she promised, that as long as I wouldn’t let baby go with her, if she came back in a year and had Cecchetti with her she’d take charge of baby’s training for 3 months. Now we are to wait & see what the year brings forth
Nondas Alrah was the first & only little American girl to go into the Pavlova ballet
