Pavlova threw her arms about her, kissed her many times & gave her a bouquet of roses & carnations. I was told by the great Dancer that my baby girl, had sparks of genius, a wonderful soul & very musical. And with proper training would make a wonderful dancer but that I must give up her present training & try to take her to Russia where she, (Pavlova) would personally enter her in the great Russian school where only the talented would be taken. Of course this I could not do, and I couldn’t think of letting my baby go so far away from me. So it was arranged that during the week they would be in chi my baby should study under one of Pavlova’s own teachers, one she always
