Ike. The campaign's promotional video highlights plans for the theater that will cater to the Latina/o community of Washington Heights.
The video itself mixes Spanish and English, strongly acknowledging the Latino audiences the theater hopes to attract. In fact, the video begins with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the composer of In the Heights, a Broadway musical set in Washington Heights. The musical was performed at United Palace Theatre soon after plans to convert back to film were announced.
